LVT flooring questions and answers

Most UK orders arrive the next working day. Order by 2pm and your floor leaves our Coventry warehouse the same day. Everything we sell is in stock.

Delivery is free on orders over £499. Orders under £499 pay a delivery charge, shown before you pay. Some Highlands and Islands postcodes cost more.

Our couriers deliver Monday to Friday. Flooring is heavy, so make sure someone is in to receive it and give the packs a quick check.

We will replace damaged packs or refund you, and we cover the cost of collection. Check your packs when they arrive and before you fit anything. If any are damaged, call 02476 637794 or email info@lvtsuperstore.com with a photo as soon as you can.

It depends on the floor. Many of our click floors have underlay already attached, so there is nothing extra to buy. Glue down LVT is stuck straight to the subfloor and does not use underlay. Look for "Built-in underlay" in the Specifications section of the product page.

Click LVT planks lock together and sit on top of the subfloor with no glue. A confident DIYer can fit it.

Glue down LVT is stuck to a smooth, prepared subfloor with adhesive. It suits large open areas and commercial spaces, and is usually fitted by a professional.

SPC stands for stone plastic composite. It is the rigid, stone-based core inside our click LVT floors. The core keeps each plank stiff and stable, which makes it easier to lay. Our glue down floors are flexible dryback LVT.

Yes. All of our LVT flooring can go over underfloor heating, both water and electric systems. Follow the manufacturer's fitting instructions.

Yes. All of our LVT flooring is waterproof, so you can lay it in kitchens, bathrooms and hallways. It is also warm underfoot and hard-wearing.

Usually not. LVT moves very little, so it can be laid close to the skirting board and the small gap sealed with flexible silicone. If the gap under your skirting is too big to seal, scotia beading covers it. We sell it in 2.4 metre lengths.

Sweep or vacuum it, then mop it. LVT is waterproof, so water will not swell the joints or lift the planks the way it can with laminate or wood.

Our floors carry residential warranties of up to 20 years, and a commercial warranty that depends on the range. Wear layers run from 0.3mm to 0.7mm, and a thicker wear layer takes more wear. The wear layer and warranty for each floor are in the Specifications section of its product page.

Yes. You can return unopened packs in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund. We refund you once the packs are back with us and checked.

To avoid a return, order free samples first and check the colour in your own room.

Yes. You can return spare packs within 30 days of delivery, as long as they are unopened and in their original packaging.
