Privacy Policy

We only collect what we need to serve you:

• Order details: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number and what you ordered, including free samples.
• Payment details: handled by our payment providers on the secure checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
• Messages: what you send us through the contact form, live chat, email or phone.
• Newsletter sign-up: your email address, the date and time you signed up, and the IP address you signed up from.
• Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, where you have allowed optional cookies.

• To take, deliver and support your order, and to send samples. Basis: our contract with you.
• To keep order and tax records. Basis: legal obligation.
• To answer your questions and deal with returns or complaints. Basis: our contract with you and our legitimate interest in looking after customers.
• To send you offers and news by email. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To keep the site secure and working, and to prevent fraud. Basis: legitimate interest.
• To understand how the site is used and to run live chat, only if you accept optional cookies. Basis: your consent.

We never sell your information. We share it only with companies that help us run the shop, and only as far as they need it:

• Couriers, so your order and samples reach you.
• Payment providers, to take payment and prevent fraud.
• Our website and checkout hosting providers.
• Mailchimp, which sends our emails if you sign up.
• Reviews.io, which invites customers to leave a review after an order.
• Tawk.to, which runs our live chat if you have accepted optional cookies.

Some of these companies process information outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK's adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Order and invoice records are kept for six years after the end of the tax year they belong to, as tax law requires. Messages are kept for as long as we need them to help you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the information we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date
• delete your information, where we have no legal reason to keep it
• stop or limit how we use it, including for marketing
• pass it to you or another company in a common format

To use any of these rights, contact us at info@lvtsuperstore.com or 02476 637794. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would like the chance to put it right first.

We only send marketing emails if you have asked for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to take you off the list at any time. Emails about an order you have placed are not marketing and are sent regardless.
