What to look for in a luxury vinyl floor
Start with the room. Any of our floors suits a bedroom or living room. For kitchens, hallways, bathrooms and commercial spaces, choose a floor with a commercial usage class, Class 32 or 33. Every floor we sell is 100% waterproof and suitable for underfloor heating, which is why LVT flooring for kitchens and bathrooms is so popular.
Next, check the wear layer. This is the clear top surface that takes the traffic. Ours run from 0.3mm for lighter domestic use to 0.7mm for heavy commercial use. Residential warranties run up to 20 years.
Then choose the installation. Click floors lock together and float over a clean, level subfloor with no adhesive, which makes them the easier DIY job. Glue down floors bond to a smooth, prepared subfloor for a slim, solid and quiet finish, and are usually fitted by a professional.
