Alva Herringbone LVT flooring in Elm Oak
Alva is the most complete collection we offer: twenty-two oak decors and four stone-effect tiles, each available as herringbone, plank or tile, and each made in two constructions. The rigid 5.2mm SPC click version floats over an existing floor without adhesive; the 2.5mm dryback version is bonded to the subfloor for the flattest, quietest finish and carries a 0.55mm commercial-grade wear layer. Both are fully waterproof, suited to underfloor heating, finished with bevelled edges and an embossed, textured surface, and covered by a twenty-year residential warranty.
Alva Herringbone brings the rhythm of a traditional parquet floor to a hallway, kitchen or open-plan living space, lending a sense of permanence to a new home and quiet grandeur to an older one. The click version is laid in 630mm x 126mm blocks, the dryback version in 610mm x 102mm. Herringbone asks a little more of the fitter than a straight plank — allow around fifteen percent for cutting and take care setting out the first rows — and rewards that care every day afterwards.
Elm Oak is a pale, sandy oak with a soft grain and little variation between boards — light and airy without being white. It suits bedrooms, landings and rooms that need brightening.
With its simple click-lock system this floor installs as a floating floor straight over most existing subfloors — no adhesive, no specialist tools, and no waiting for glue to cure. Planks lock together in minutes, making it a favourite with confident DIYers, and the rigid SPC core keeps every joint tight and stable in rooms that see big temperature swings, including conservatories and kitchens.

24 January 2025I bought 6 packs of Alva Plank Cherokee Oak.
Midway through laying it I was puzzled why it was not laying straight. Thought it must be my fault until I picked out a plank that was so obviously not square (it was tapering to a point). What a kerfuffle! Fortunately, I had enough to complete the job and am very happy with the outcome. I did contact the company and am pleased to say I have now received a fulsome apology and have been generously compensated for the extra effort it took.

11 April 2024I ordered laminate flooring from Lvt superstore, my order came a lot sooner than stated which I was very happy about. Unfortunately there was quite a few pieces chipped. I rang the supplier's and informed them about it they were very helpful and said they would replace it. Within a couple of days they replaced the whole order and took the damaged one back. I was very thankful .they went above and beyond to rectify the problem. I would definately recommend them and i would order from them again xx
