About this floor
Artisan Herringbone LVT flooring in Urban Grey
Artisan is a herringbone collection of six oak decors, offered as a dryback floor bonded to the subfloor or as a click floor that floats over it. Its 750mm x 125mm blocks are a generous, traditional proportion, and the surface is embossed in register with the printed grain, so the texture you feel follows the wood you see. A 0.55mm commercial-grade wear layer, four-sided bevelled edges and full water resistance make it as suited to a busy kitchen as to a formal hallway, and it is covered by a twenty-year residential warranty.
Artisan Herringbone is laid in 750mm x 125mm blocks, a longer, more elegant proportion than most parquet, which gives the pattern a calm, unhurried rhythm across a large room. The embossed-in-register surface and bevelled edges give each block the presence of solid timber, whether the floor is bonded down for the quietest finish or clicked together over an existing surface.
Urban Grey is a pale, cool grey oak with a soft, washed finish. It brings a light, contemporary elegance to a living room or hallway and complements white, charcoal and muted pastel schemes.
With its simple click-lock system this floor installs as a floating floor straight over most existing subfloors — no adhesive, no specialist tools, and no waiting for glue to cure. Planks lock together in minutes, making it a favourite with confident DIYers, and the rigid SPC core keeps every joint tight and stable in rooms that see big temperature swings, including conservatories and kitchens.

Web site is easy to use. Samples arrived in a few days and supported selection of preferred tile. Order then placed simply. Tiles arrived quickly and appear excellent quality and value for price paid. Concerns related to shipping info. Text received from a shipping company that was unfamiliar to me (XPD Express) and advised item from 'Carpet & Cushion' collected. Since I had not ordered anything from such a company, I assumed the text was scam and avoided clicking on the embedded link. When I later saw the same info in an e-mail, I reconsidered and did click the link. However, this brought up an 'Untrusted Link' message in my Bitdefender software, so I aborted. However, the tiles did arrive the next day and were left by my front door since I was away and had no idea of delivery date or time. This part of the process needs an overhaul but otherwise great.
