About this floor
Simply Smooth Mosaic Herringbone LVT flooring in Antique Walnut
Simply Smooth Mosaic is a fine-scale herringbone in six oak decors, laid in small 340mm x 74mm blocks that create an intricate, jewel-like surface — the closest of our floors to a traditional mosaic parquet. A 2.5mm dryback construction bonds it to the subfloor for the flattest, quietest finish, a 0.55mm commercial-grade wear layer protects it, and bevelled edges give every block its own outline. Fully waterproof, suited to underfloor heating, and covered by a twenty-year residential warranty.
Simply Smooth Mosaic Herringbone is laid in 340mm x 74mm blocks, a small format that multiplies the pattern across a room and rewards a closer look. It suits a hallway, a reception room or a period property where a finer parquet feels right, and the dryback construction keeps the floor slim where door clearances are tight. Allow around fifteen percent for cutting and set out the first rows with care.
Antique Walnut is a warm, mid-to-dark brown with a rich grain that, in this small-block format, reads as a deep and intricate parquet. It gives a dining room or hallway a settled, traditional depth.
As a gluedown LVT this floor bonds directly to your subfloor for an exceptionally solid, quiet feel underfoot. Its slim profile keeps build height to a minimum — ideal where door clearances are tight — and full adhesion makes it the professional choice for heavy commercial spaces and rooms with underfloor heating, where direct contact means faster, more even heat response.

1 April 2022Experience mainly positive.
Web site is easy to use. Samples arrived in a few days and supported selection of preferred tile. Order then placed simply. Tiles arrived quickly and appear excellent quality and value for price paid. Concerns related to shipping info. Text received from a shipping company that was unfamiliar to me (XPD Express) and advised item from 'Carpet & Cushion' collected. Since I had not ordered anything from such a company, I assumed the text was scam and avoided clicking on the embedded link. When I later saw the same info in an e-mail, I reconsidered and did click the link. However, this brought up an 'Untrusted Link' message in my Bitdefender software, so I aborted. However, the tiles did arrive the next day and were left by my front door since I was away and had no idea of delivery date or time. This part of the process needs an overhaul but otherwise great.
