Alva Tile LVT flooring in Dark Slate
Alva is the most complete collection we offer: twenty-two oak decors and four stone-effect tiles, each available as herringbone, plank or tile, and each made in two constructions. The rigid 5.2mm SPC click version floats over an existing floor without adhesive; the 2.5mm dryback version is bonded to the subfloor for the flattest, quietest finish and carries a 0.55mm commercial-grade wear layer. Both are fully waterproof, suited to underfloor heating, finished with bevelled edges and an embossed, textured surface, and covered by a twenty-year residential warranty.
Alva Tile brings the collection's stone-effect decors to kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways in a large-format tile that is warmer and quieter underfoot than ceramic, with no grout to maintain. Click tiles are 600mm x 310mm and dryback tiles 610mm x 305mm. Fully waterproof and suited to underfloor heating, they are a considered choice for the rooms that see the most water and the most footfall.
Dark Slate is a deep charcoal-grey stone-effect tile with the layered, slightly uneven look of riven slate. It suits hallways, kitchens and utility rooms where a dark, practical floor hides the traffic.
With its simple click-lock system this floor installs as a floating floor straight over most existing subfloors — no adhesive, no specialist tools, and no waiting for glue to cure. Planks lock together in minutes, making it a favourite with confident DIYers, and the rigid SPC core keeps every joint tight and stable in rooms that see big temperature swings, including conservatories and kitchens.
